Cancellation
Regular orders of stock items (i.e. not custom or wholesale) may be cancelled any time prior to packaging and shipping.
Returns
We offer a "return for credit" policy on incorrect goods. We will issue a store credit equivalent to the value of any returned goods we accept. Earrings, jewellery and custom work are non-returnable. We reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee of up to 25%
We cover return shipping costs if we have dispatched an incorrect item. Please sufficiently insure the item and return it in its original packaging along with the original receipt. We will not give credits on uninsured items which arrive back to us damaged. However, please contact The Glass Bakery before returning any glass.
Service charges (e.g. PayPal and Interac) are non refundable.
Special, Discounted & Custom Items
All sales on "special", discounted and custom items are final with no refunds, credits or exchanges. We are not permitted to print images which may breach personal privacy or copyright rules. The image resolution of photo fused pieces will not match the original image - some loss will occur in printing and firing stages. Champagne bubbles are typical of fused glass and are not a fault.
Delivery & Shipping
Shipping dates depend on availability of stock and raw materials. We will advise you of an approximate shipping date once you have placed your order. Usually orders will be shipped within one to three weeks. If an item is out of stock, we will wait until all items are available and ship the whole order as one package - unless you request otherwise (separate shipping charges would apply). In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfill your order, we are not liable to you except that we will not charge you for that item.
The Glass Bakery uses Canada Post Xpresspost and Expedited parcel services for all national and international orders. We will quote a delivery price before you confirm your order.
Xpresspost and Expedited services include $100 coverage for loss only, we may purchase additional insurance on your behalf from Canada Post for packages valued at greater than $100 and add it to the shipping cost. We will carefully wrap and ship all items with adequate insurance, and once the item has been shipped, the postal carrier is liable for any subsequent loss (but not breakage). If an item is delivered damaged, please email a photograph of the faulty item. If the item arrives damaged because of inadequate packaging we will consider replacing the glass based on each individual case. However, you should email a photo of the damage and wait for our response before returning any goods. Return shipping is at the buyers expense unless indicated by The Glass Bakery as part of the individual case.
